I wish I had come across this verse by Eliot before I wrote my last post on Appelbaum's The Stop, it would have made a nice ending. But here it is as a postscript:
Neither flesh nor fleshless;
Neither from nor towards;
At the still point, there the dance is,
But neither arrrest nor movement.
And do not call it fixity.
Where past and future are gathered.
Neither movement from nor towards,
Neither ascent nor decline.
Except for the point, the still point,
There would be no dance,
And there is only the dance.

Hello,
The TS Elliot poem is one of my favorites! It is nice you are posting the photo of my dance company but please put a link to my webpage as well (www.rebeccaricedance.com) and photo credit to the photographer.
It should read: Photo credit: Jillian St. Germain of Rebecca Rice Dance by Matt Karas. www.rebeccaricedance.com.
Thanks so much.
